The Goal

Sunbeach Properties has a strong commitment to serving their clients in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. Because of this, they needed a way to ensure that their vacation rental owners had their rental properties occupied as many weeks of the year as possible. To help accomplish this, Sunbeach Properties turned to Paul to help increase search engine exposure and traffic to their website.

The major goal was to ensure that they were found when potential renters searched for vacation rentals within the area they service. In addition, they needed a website that was compelling to website visitors—presenting Sunbeach’s properties in a positive light and persuading them to contact Sunbeach Properties about rental dates and options.

The Solution

An entire redesign of the website was needed. Not only was the site uncompelling, it lacked elements necessary to receive the search engine rankings that were desired.

From the ground up, Paul needed to create a website that could accomplish their goals. It had to create a user experience that helped the visitor quickly find what they needed and help direct them to people who could help. The site also needed to cast their rental properties in a positive light and show the visitor the value that their properties held.

In addition, search engine optimization (SEO) elements needed to be incorporated into the new design in order to drive more visitors to the website, helping Sunbeach keep their vacation rentals running at optimal capacity.

The Results

Within a few months after launch of the new website, Sunbeach Properties started to receive a steady 450% increase in search engine referral traffic coming to their website. The average number of annual visitors coming to their website from various search increased from 9,000 to 40,000.

In addition, because of the visibility they received in the search engines, Sunbeach Properties saw an increase in vacation owners requesting their service for renting their vacation properties.
